Rose and ?
The words never registered in her head; they were a complete jumble of sounds that swirled around her and over her. Everything was like a dream, sights, sounds, smells, taste, speech, touch. Rose stared ahead, but saw nothing. A hand grabbed her arm and apparated her away, yet the pull at the belly never came. They were at the cemetery and a blink of the eye later they were at Shell Cottage.
Upon their arrival, her movements of removing her cloak and walking were instinctive; she never thought of them. She barely thought of anything the last few days. Even in her last therapy session, Dr. Keller had to poke and prod until she showed a glimmer of emotion with a single tear.
Today was worse, only Rose didn't notice. She was simply existing. Wondering away from the room, she walked out into the garden. She found a spot and sat, still staring out into the nothingness. The cold winter wind bit at her exposed skin. Still, she felt none of it, Nor did she notice when her teeth started chattering.
Rose just sat, feeling the emptiness inside her from Lily and Hope's death. If I hadn't told her about Bryn...if I hadn't mentioned my own thoughts...if I hadn't gone to visit her...if I hadn't...
