RP: Percy and Alastor Who: Alastor Moody and Percy Weasley Where: Ministry of Magic, Minister for Magic's office When: Wednesday, 18 November, 2025 -- afternoon Summary: Percy and Alastor talk security
Alastor had spent half his morning dealing with the issue of his brother. How was it possible he had the time for that? It couldn't be that he was that efficient or had become that capable of juggling people, paperwork, and such during the time at the castle.
At least at the castle there'd been the possibility of seeing something more than an office.
Here it was meetings, reports, requests. He had time for lunch and watching other people be out in the field, doing the real work. Instead of being out there, doing what he was good at, he was here, delivering news he wasn't good at or trying to figure out why politicians thought it impossible to just say what they wanted. He could give them answers a lot faster if they'd simply be direct instead of trying to be smart.
Making his to the Minister's office for an appointment, Alastor was left thinking, again, that he couldn't understand how he'd gotten there. Not that any of his thoughts were visible in his expression. He'd have to have an expression for that. While other Heads might smile and play politics, Alastor remained polite, but direct. If he had an expression, it would mean someone was in trouble.
"Afternoon, Mr. Minister," he said once he was shown into Percy Weasley's office. And, really, it was a relief to have at least one Weasley he could refer to by something other than Weasley without having to resort to informalities no one had earned. "You wished to see me?"
