Even Charlie had to admit that if Alastor Moody of all people said that he knew better when it came to some issue of relationships then Charlie was clearly well out of his element. "I just told him I didn't want to rush into a marriage just to keep people from talking, since that conversation I have told him that, though it hasn't seemed to make a difference." Charlie had tried to fix whatever communication issue they'd had during that first conversation, but it seemed to do more harm than good.
"You're making this sound like we're trying to write up a report here." Charlie sighed, it had only been a little less than a week since this conversation but after all the times he'd gone over it in his head he wasn't sure he could remember just who had said what.
"The only real reason that we discussed that first night was a way to make our relationship better for the people around us. And we both agreed that marriage just so we could shag was not really the best idea in the world, we wanted to get married for the right reasons. I don't want to force him into a marriage he doesn't want just so that we can be together, I understand that men didn't just get married in the time he's used to - and it's a big deal for him. I just ... I never thought I'd ever even want to get married, I didn't want to get married and then have to wonder if we'd done it for the right reasons. I didn't want to have to question that."
