"Point made." Charlie allowed finally after a few moments. "I've told him all ready, I'm here for anything he needs, even if that means going through you." Just because Callum didn't want to marry him, didn't mean that Charlie was just going to turn his back on him - the man meant too much for that, even if he was driving Charlie insane.
"He does seem pretty set on leaving." Charlie agreed, and if all they could do was get Callum to stay Charlie would consider that a small victory.
Charlie nodded while Alastor continued. "Well I hate to break it to you, but I'm not worth staying for either - he's just here out of an obligation to keep after the dragons." He reminded Alastor. He frowned when Alastor brought up his first point, "You know you're really lucky that I like him as much as I do, because that is a horrible thing to suggest."
He could see Alastor's point about Callum's birthday. "I'll talk to them then, see if I can't find one of them who would help." He was all ready considering who they could ask for help. "Anything else you've been considering."
