"When we eliminated all the other possibilities. There's nothing left but business. You can't have it both ways, Charlie. You just... you can't." He snorted. "Then, we really have nothing else to discuss, do we?"
All the frustrations of the past few days came to the surface. He hadn't talked to anyone, had nothing to say without sounding pathetic, and now Charlie was making it sound like he had committed some great crime, and he wouldn't stand for it.
"It's not any of your business," he hissed. "Time for what, huh? You never had a problem when it was you inviting people over to shag. It wasn't even an issue that you wanted to fuck my brother's girlfriend." Never mind that it would have been better if he had. At least Alastor wouldn't be involved with her, but that wasn't a discussion he was going to have with Charlie.
"For your information, I didn't try and do anything. I was there, he was there. He was interested and I was horny. Nothing more and nothing less." He stood up, and went to stove. It was much easier if he wasn't looking at Charlie. "Can you speak to anyone in Romania? You know people there. I'll go there."
