RP: Jamie, Sirius Who: Jamie, Sirius Where: GP When: 15 November, 2025 Summary: It's time that they clear a few things
Ginny had arrived this morning, and Jamie had gone to work late to show her the place. Everything had gone fine until they had reached the room that they had decorated for Lily's baby. It wasn't a full nursery, because Jamie had wanted to wait to know the gender before changing the decor. It was then that Ginny had mentioned that Lily Luna wanted Hope to go with Lily. Jamie had said nothing more about the subject and gone to work. Throughout the day, anger simmered, although fortunately, work tended to distract him a lot, or he might have killed someone.
He even made it through dinner before finally asking Sirius to have a word in private. He made sure that they were in their room with the door closed before speaking up. "I found out from my mother that we won't need a nursery for Hope because Lily and James are taking my niece," he started. "Do you think anyone bothered to tell me that? Of course not. Do you think anyone is explaining why an Auror and a hit wizard who were barely involved in our lives are raising Hope? Again no. By some miracle, do you think that anyone has thought about all our Uncles and Aunts who could raise this child if Lily didn't want it with me or Al? Again no, not that our Uncles should raise it when we're willing to raise her. Now, I can understand why my sister would do something so stupid; she's bloody insane. What I can't understand is why they'd go along unless they want something, but I'm not in the mood to figure this out. In fact, I refuse to even get close to my sister at the moment, because I'm likely to hex her as well and take that baby right now, and I doubt anyone would blame me."
Jamie stopped pacing and looked at Sirius. "That leaves my lovely grandparents. I know they are your friends and feel free to talk to them, but if I see them anywhere near me, I will hex them. Now, I can go and tell them in person, or you can deal with them. You might also want to mention that if I find out that they ever use my father's memory again for whatever sick game they are playing, I will hurt them, and trust me, I'm better trained than they are."
