"Hmm," Percy said in response to Charlie's continued assertion about the lack of marital options for keepers. He made a private note to research the matter when he had free time, which would be after he left office, so what about 20 or so years from now?
"A late 20th century vintage, not the best in the cellar by any means, but pretty damn good," Percy nodded at the firewhiskey, swirling the contents of his glass.
When Charlie began describing his history with Callum, Percy immediately realized why he never went into counseling: he'd be piss poor at it. "How long have you two been dating?" He asked after Charlie got done describing the change in atmosphere.
Percy was thrilled that Britain finally had a dragon reserve. He didn't share Charlie's fascination to be sure, but he felt that a dragon reserve was an important component for a wizarding community. Granted, he wasn't thrilled that they were stolen dragons. And he had honestly been surprised that there hadn't been a demand for their return after Riddle fell.
"That you're here looking like death on a pumpkin roll means he didn't say yes," Percy motioned for Charlie to continue.
