Percy was tempted to explain that it was ancient history because his election as Minister signaled the beginning of a new era, but he decided that was too egotistical even for him.
"Fair enough," Percy finally responded, mirroring his brother's smirk. While he waited for Charlie to continue, he made a mental list of his counterparts in other wizarding communities that he would need to talk to on Monday.
"Charlie," Percy took off his glasses and leaned forward. "I dare you to find someone more married to his career than me. And I got married. And if it weren't for Audrey and the girls, I'm sure I would be a permanent resident of Mungo's. My point is that the two don't have to be mutually exclusive."
As Charlie continued, Percy nodded, "Ah, the crux of the issue. So, what happened with Callum?" He called for a house elf to bring them some firewhiskey and then handed a glass to Charlie.
