"The most worth it and miraculous thing to ever happen to a woman," she said softly, cooing to the baby in her arms. She was warm and soft, and smelled amazing.
She sighed, and leaned forward to gently pass the baby back to Lily. "You're going to do just fine," she assured the younger woman. "The first time I held Harry, I thought I was going to break him. But your instincts take over. You'll be a pro in no time."
She knew how it was to feel unsure about being a mother, and even with everything Lily had done, she would be there for the girl however she could.
