When: 8 November 2025, lunchtime
Summary: Rose brings her parents some lunch
Her meeting was scheduled at 11 that morning in order to give her enough time to get there if she overslept too much. Arriving 20 minutes early, she filled out paperwork and attempted to read without comprehending any of the words on the page. This is so you can get better, so that things can go back to being normal again. You have to do this, she told herself over and over again when the urge to get up and run away washed over her. At precisely 11, Rose was called into the inner office.
The meeting with the healer went...well it went. Rose, being so nervous, hardly said anything productive. Instead she babbled and then apologized for babbling. The healer, a woman, nodded and took notes. The comfort and ease she felt with Anthony was not there and maybe part of Rose didn't want it to be there because she felt it would somehow destroy the part of her memory of Anthony. When the hour time was up, Rose felt so grateful to get out of there, she almost forgot to make another appointment in her rush to leave.
Since the healer's office was in downtown London, Rose took the Underground, thinking of just stopping at home to see CJ before changing her mind and heading towards the Ministry. When she was back on the street level, she walked over to a deli that sold soups and sandwiches and got some to go. With her wrapped food in her arms, she found the visitor's entrance to the Ministry.
She took the lifts down to her father's level first, thinking Mum would be more inclined to leave her office if there were two of them asking. After navigating throughout the floor, Rose finally managed to find the correct office. Poking her head in, she said, "Would I be sent to Azkaban if I bribed a high level ministry official with food to help me kidnap my mother for an hour?"
