"Everyone," Hugo said, shoving a bite of waffles into his mouth. When he was done chewing he continued. "It's not just the firsties, it's everyone." At least Alex knew what he meant, and he didn't have to explain how out of plcae he felt among his peers. And hopefully, that feeling would go away soon. And at least they had Quidditch again.
"Well, Hogwarts is something we're entitled to, all of us. It's just...we worked to see that it stayed that way and they were safe at home. Maybe not all of them." HE felt like a complete tosser saying things like these. He was glad that most of the kids had been able to stay safe, but the vast difference between their experience, and his and Alex's, was almost comical.
He sighed, and speared a sausage with a fork. "It's good that Aunt Ginny is back though," he said quietly. "Wish we could have gone to see her."
