The one thing to be said for Ministry type jobs were the weekends, and maybe some people preferred to spend their weekends at a desk doing Merlin only knows what, but unless it was something truly pressing Charlie didn't make himself go in. He much preferred being here with his dragons after all - and of course it helped that he got to make up in some small way the time he missed with Callum during the week.
Gods he was turning into some kind of sentimental fool. Charlie shook his head and was going to check on the dragons that morning when he heard a voice - a decidedly female voice, which really ought to have known better to be out here at the camp. He didn't even register the familiar tone at first, just started to turn to tell whatever student had wandered down here that they were in the wrong place.
But then he saw her and stopped. She was young, too young, but it was her - he knew her too well not to know her now. "Ginny... oh gods." He would never get used to this, to people coming back - first there was Hestia only days before and now Ginny. There were procedures, he should get the Aurors or something but this was Ginny. "Are you okay? I mean ... wow, yeah gods it's good to see you."
