Astoria sighed. "That wasn't why I brought it up, Scorpius. I really thought that you wouldn't come, but you are here now, so let's not dwell on those reasons that could have prevented you to come."
She cupped his chin and brought his head up. "We might not have been there, but we knew how you were doing." She let go and hugged him, her heels making sure they were at the same height. The hug was quick and she stepped back after a moment, taking his arm again.
"I don't want this to be a source of more arguments. If you'd like to come and stay here, then yes, it's a real invitation. If you'd rather not, then say so, and there is no harm done, but don't say yes, if you don't want to be here. It will only lead to more problems, and I don't want that," she said.
