Re: Kingsley + Tonks
The grin on Kingsley's face was enough to bring a wider one out on Dora's pale features. A real, heartfelt, honest to goodness smile. She even leaned up, wrapping one arm around the back of his shoulders in a warm, sideways hug. His comment about 'kid', however, made her arch a brow, "I have not been a -kid- for very long time, thank you very much. And I'm not yet old enough to be flattered either, old man." She teased him back in turn, giving a brief tickle to his side.
Her eyes followed his around the party, doing much the same. He really had trained her, even if he didn't remember it. They worked a room and a scene pretty much in the same way, but as naturally as breathing together. It made for quite the effective team.
His question made her shrug, "Settled in as much as I'm going to get, it seems. And James offered me a place to stay with he and Lily. So, I've got somewhere for now. Though, really, being back to work I'd rather just stick around the office. Even if I'm considering committing a mortal sin and signing on with the hit-wizards." She confessed beneath her breath.
