Re: Andromeda and Tonks
Tonks shrugged casually, "People move on. Dwelling and hoping the dead will come back to life isn't good for anyone. I just got lucky, and now I move on too, you know?" She tried to smile, though, to bring that look out on her young mother's features of happiness, even if it seemed hard. She worried about the woman.
"And mum, you named me -Nymph-a-dora-. Seriously, mum. What were you drinking?" The tone was meant to be teasing, clearly joking, trying to get her mother to relax just a little bit. "Dora, if you insist on not using Tonks." But Tonks didn't look thrilled about that either! At least she was willing to meet her mother half way.
"How's Bertram? I haven't been home in....So long. Maybe I could visit this week after work." She earnestly didn't seem to know her mother wasn't living in her childhood home. It didn't seem to occur to her that Andromeda didn't know it was there.
