Re: Andromeda and Tonks
Tonks couldn't entirely hide the fact that she felt out of place here. She'd stayed close to the wall at the Christening, watching everything, smiling to the few people that recognized her, but not nosing in on anyone and their lives. The world had gotten very accustomed to living without a Nymphadora Tonks several times, this time was no different. She saw no need to shake their comfort zone. So she stood and watched, supported her friends and helped keep a protective guard all at the same time. No one would ruin this day.
She blinked when she heard a voice which was too achingly familiar. A girl never forgot her mother's voice, even if this version of her mother barely knew her. She gave Andromeda a small smile, stepping forward, a bit closer to the woman. "It's Tonks, mum... You know that." She insisted, but it came with a smile that she could say that all. "And thanks. I...I really just got back the other night. Been trying to settle back into work. I didn't want to...Bother people, I suppose."
