Snape sighed inwardly. The necessity was obvious; he'd long foreseen that this day would come. That didn't mean that he personally wouldn't miss the beasts.
"Naturally," he agreed. "Curious schoolchildren and dragons are rather a volatile mixture, especially over the long term. I'm willing to expedite their safe transfer in any way I can. Exactly what assistance do you want from me?"
He added, "Speaking of assistance, it would of course be of material use to the school if we could retain any shed scales, claw scrapings, or any other physical detritus of the animals."
