"Please don't call me that," Jamie said very softly. "Call me Jamie, call me Sirius' husband, call me anything, but not grandson. You made it clear that you didn't see us as grandchildren. Lily said that she couldn't see Dad as her son, and I've accepted that. I will also give you all the help possible because you are my father's parents, but you don't get to change your minds over night and expect me to play along, and you do not get to mourn him like you cared for him, just because a pregnancy has woken up your parental instinct."
Jamie stood up as well and put his arm around Sirius. Suddenly he wanted to be home, and it had nothing to do with the dinner or their stupid fights. He hadn't stopped thinking about his father. He hadn't had time when the lives of three hundred people and the wizarding world, but now it was hitting him all at once and he wanted to be home with Sirius and not here. "Thank you for dinner. It was very good. Good night."
