"I have a feeling any ideas that we come up with in the future aren't going to be the kind that push people toward idiots with an insane superiority complex." He rolled his eyes - Regulus might have been right, about what he and Jamie had been responsible for when they were younger, but he wasn't about to start arguing that now, not here. It wouldn't do any of them any good. Not to mention the unlikelihood that he and James would be spending the amount of time together that they had in the past. Things had changed here, it was obvious since he came in the door and Sirius didn't really know how to go about changing things, or if they even could.
Sirius didn't really care about the implications of not being told in an owl, after all they'd told people in person before letting the rest of the family know. That wasn't really the point - what was the point though was that they had told Snape first.
"You told Snape first?" He knew Lily had grown closer to the man since returning to life - that there had been some past there between them, but Jamie? Sirius had wanted this evening to go well, though expecting the worst, he'd just thought the explosion when it did come would have been from his brother - though it was rapidly looking like that would not be the case. "You told that greasy git before you told us?" Sirius didn't even stop to think about how they had waited to tell Jamie and Lily their own news of the twins, because all he could think about was that Jamie had told Snivellus this news before he'd told them, the Marauders.
"No, no, that's great, congrats; I'm sure the three of you will be really happy with all of this. I'm sure he's only too happy to help in any way he can for Lily." It was all he could do not to sneer. And maybe it was childish to be so upset over something like this, but Sirius couldn't help himself.
