"How about neither of you start getting ideas." Remus rolled his eyes. He'd forgotten what these two could be like when they got together. It was all too easy to fall back into old roles, it seemed. "Bad things happen when you two get ideas." Shaking his head, he followed the rest of them into the dining room, giving Regulus a small teasing wink as he let his lover precede him.
Accepting his own glass of champagne with a smile, Remus took his seat. "Chicken is fine. Dessert is the most important part of the meal, in any case."
Prongs was clearly going to drag out the revelation of whatever the news was and only the eventual admission of that news prevented him rolling his eyes again. This wasn't eye-rolling new, however, though he couldn't help feeling a pang of loss at the memory of the last time they'd shared this same news and the friend their first son had been to him. He grinned at his friends. "Congratulations."
