Who: Hugo, Ron, Hermione
Where: Granger-Weasley House, then Hogwarts
When: 31 October, 2025, mid-afternoon
Summary: Last afternoon before school.
Hugo had taken his time packing this time around. There were only a few weeks before Christmas, so he didn't have to bring everything. His broom was the first thing backed, followed by the books on the Animagus transformation he'd collected. Clothes were last, along with any odds and ends he'd come across. Chudley Canon watched from his perch on Hugo's pillow, alert as ever since they'd been back.
When he was done packing, he headed downstairs to let his parents know he was ready to go back to school. It seemed like he'd barely left, but he was looking forward to go back. Wren was there, and all his friends he hadn't seen in months. He wondered what it'd be like to see everyone, and what they'd been doing at Durmstrang. He was really glad he hadn't had to go there, even with everything else that had happened. But they'd had two months of regular classes, and probably didn't even know what had gone on at Hogwarts. It was going to be weird, going back to normal.
He was still thinking about that when he entered the kitchen, hoping to find some sort of snack to hold him over until dinner.
