Re: Stephen/Andromeda
Stephen put an arm around her, while he scanned for a place to sit. Many of the benches were taken, but when he saw an empty one, he led her toward it. "You won't fall with me around," he said seriously as he waited for her to sit down.
He put the bottle on the ground and turned to her. "I know I'm not the husband you would have chosen and I'm hardly around, but I won't let people hurt you."
He cupped her cheek and kissed her softly. It was strange. He didn't feel like he felt with Azriel, but Andromeda had become a friend of sort, someone he wanted to protect, like he had done with Charlotte. "You know, I could make you grand promises, but the truth is that as much as I want to protect you, give me some new puzzle to figure out and I forget the world exist, but you are my wife and even if you weren't, I would want to help anyway.
"Remember all those questions about what you wanted to do? You get to do it now. You can go into the Ministry, find a job there or something into the private sector, or St. Mungo's. You have so much potential and this time, your choices don't have to depend on family or a man. You can do anything. You just have to-" He raised the burger. "Close your eyes and jump. Make a decision without worrying about all the possible outcomes. Just do what feels right for once."
