Re: Bill - Hermione
"Everyone who's met her would agree with you." Not everyone appreciated it, but it was hard to miss. "We'll just have to enjoy this tow for them as well."
Hermione shrugged. "There's always a few, and as long as we don't make them feel like there's something wrong with them, it should work out. We don't want to isolate more purebloods in the name of progress. We know how well that works out."
She chuckled. "That's fine. Someone else can have the job, someone that can unite all fronts. As much as I enjoy it, I like making a real impact. Sure, as a Minister you make decisions, but you can't always do what's right, because there are too many political considerations. I want to do what's right." She smiled. "When the type comes, it's time to vote for someone else in the family." She might not like the politics, but she could play. "Percy will keep things stable. He's a Gryffindor and a Weasley, but he's also conservative and a politician. He's the right choice."
The mentioning of her children reminded her of more problems. "Hugo is better, although I think Ron will never recover. I'm pretty sure he's decided that Hugo should be grounded for life, because no sixteen year old ever fought Voldemort. We certainly never attempted anything like that. Rose-" She shook her head. "I don't know, Bill. I don't understand her. She's always so sad, thinking the worse. It makes no sense."
