Alastor walked through the town with one eye on where he was going and the other eyes surveying everything in it's reach. Most of the buildings were empty, of course, but Alastor was interested in watching the people in town as well. Security was always an issue in gatherings like these. And Alastor was too paranoid to not be thinking of security even while technically off duty.
Still, things seemed quiet...relatively, which left Alastor free to marvel at the technology. He'd almost forgotten his love of gadgets during the war.
Gadgets like the eye that told him his brother and Charlie were coming up behind him. Alastor waited until they were just within a distance that would allow them to hail him and then turned suddenly with a smirk. "Evening, gentlemen. Now, Charlie, I know gets into the city occasionally. But, how did you manage to drag my big brother away from those great beasties you both love?"
