"Well, that just proves how smart they are," Remus said with a grin, letting Cepheus play with this finger an equal time to that given his sister before Remus stood up straight again to talk to their mother properly. "The lights are new and shiny, but the flames are warmer."
Shrugging, Remus looked around them. "Human nature likes new and shiny, too." He chuckled and shook his head. "Hopefully, some of the glitz is for show and will go away with time."
Nodding, he smiled. "We did, yes. Much to Severus' irritation, I'm sure. I do enjoy teaching, very much, if I'm honest. I want to pursue some research of my own, however, and have more time for family. Regulus and I have talked about my possibly taking on some teaching for the Centre when it's open."
