Jacob/Patrick
It wasn't like there was anything else for Jacob to do with his time at the moment, he wasn't ever going to be like Alastor who seemed to prefer working to living his life - and so it was an easy decision to go and check out this invitation he'd gotten to Dorinta. Though how someone could just go and make a town out of nothing was well strange to say the least.
But he went despite his misgivings, if only to be kept within the loop. Information gathering might not be Jacob's vocation any longer but that didn't mean he had to give up the habit.
The bright lights were garish, and he didn't understand why anyone would want an entire area dedicated to something as boring as muggles. Wasn't that was the rest of the world was for, after all? All in all the place seemed more than a little gaudy, and cheap - but he could see how others were reacting, how excited some were. And even if this wasn't exactly his cup of tea Jacob would be keeping an eye on this place, thanks to it's popularity.
