"That must be it. I'm not sure what it says about you or me that you had to come so far into the future to find someone crazy enough to deal with you though." He grinned, settling himself on top of Callum as they moved. "Yeah - I think I was nearly as convinced as you were from the start this wouldn't work. Or that I'd end up dead before this was all over. And yet here we are."
Charlie nodded. "Yes, there is definitely too many politics involved in these sorts of things. I will happily leave them their money, and their land, and their politics when I have things settled." Maybe it was because he was a Weasley, or maybe just because he was so used to working on dragon reserves, but Charlie had never felt the need to amass large sums of money.
"So long as it's not for too much longer, I can keep wearing the robes and dealing with these people who find it necessary to play games instead of just saying what they mean, and when we get our reserve and we have things settled we'll see about that vacation." He promised with a grin, maybe not a real vacation, but a break would be vacation enough in Charlie's mind.
