"It must be why I haven't settled until now. No one crazy enough," he answered, grinning. Callum put an arm around Charlie and pulled him on top of him as they kissed. Even when Charlie pulled back, they were inches away. "It was bonkers, but we did. You should be proud of yourself for believing that it would happen."
He gave Charlie a loop-sided smile. "And that never really seemed that important to me. They can keep their lands. There simply is too much politics with that kind of money involved."
Callum chuckled. "I can't imagine anyone preferring to be there, with the exception of half of your family and my brother, of course. We can let them do it, but until then, you'll suffer in your robes and I'll work my arse off, but it'll be worth it, because we'll have our reserve, even if you are cheating me out of a vacation."
