Charlie rolled his eyes. "Well maybe you have a thing for old men too." He chuckled. "Sounds pretty great doesn't it? Actual days off, vacation time. Can you even remember what that was like?" It did seem almost hard to believe after everything they had done, but Charlie was still convinced that was reality for some keepers, and it was definitely the kind of reality they should have on their reserve.
"I didn't think so." Charlie shook his head, "It's hard not to know about them now for one reason or another." Least of all because Jamie had married into the Black family.
Charlie snorted. "You go sit at a desk all day and then see how you look at the end of the day, I'd much rather be out here dealing with all of this." Charlie would have much preferred coming back to bed aching each night to the tedium of paperwork and trying to talk legalese to more people than he wanted to think about. "Hermione is going to owe me for the rest of our lives for putting me through this." Charlie grumbled.
