It had been easy to get used to the sort of give and take relationship he'd had with Callum from the start - though it had usually been Charlie doing the taking. Things felt a little off kilter at the moment, Charlie didn't like leaving Callum here to bear the brunt of the load and the responsibility with the dragons, but hopefully that would all be alleviated soon enough.
"I think I can probably do that." Charlie agreed, they would need it no matter what they ended up doing, but especially if they were keeping the dragons. It had been one thing to have the small number of keepers they'd gotten by with before, but to make this permanent they'd need more. "They won't be happy of course, but I don't think that'll be anything new."
"I think we've found a place for them too." Charlie couldn't help but grin at that - it wasn't quite what he'd pictured at first, but to get the dragons out of Hogwarts, and make the whole legal process easier this was going to be ideal. "The Notts seem to be in posession of a rather large natural reserve, Stephen has offered us a place there for the dragons. I'll still need a little time to finish getting the laws and regulations in place, and making sure we'll have the help we need to make this work, but I think this will work."
