Re: Azriel - Stephen
"I was teaching. For some reason, 'being locked inside a castle for several months' didn't seem to make it onto my 'what if' scenarios," He smiled. "I know you do. It's why I like you."
He uncrossed his arms, letting them hang by his sides. "I have a good knowledge of spells from the last couple of centuries, especially offensive spells, the theory work behind them. You know father, he was a perfectionist," He lips twisted into a ghost of a smile. "Defensive spells I'm not as good on. Father wouldn't teach me many in case I used them when he was teaching me others. He liked me to know what it would feel like when it was non-lethal."
He looked up at Stephen. "You know you can trust me not to say anything. The only person I'd even be tempted to tell is Patrick and I can keep it from him," he replied. "I've got tonnes of books at the estate. My family's always been a little... Obsessive about collecting on the subject."
