"I admit that I work too much, but you were the one who went away and locked himself inside that school, so you can't blame it completely on me," he answered, chuckling. "And I have too much of a Slytherin streak in me not to work on important things."
Stephen almost sighed, because the change was immediate. It was hard to miss when his hands were on Azriel and he tensed immediately. "You are underestimating what I think you know. I know my father and I know yours. I have a fairly good idea of what you know, but I need to be certain. This is too important not to."
He slid his hands over Azriel's arms, fingers closing over Azriel's hand. "This project could affect everyone in our world, and I need people with knowledge of the Dark arts. Not just the spells, but the theory behind them, how they are created, how do they work. I also need people that I trust, and I trust you implicitly. So can you do it and can you keep it a secret?"
