Cassandra shook her head and crossed to set the flowers down near the bed. She'd brought one of the vases from the estate rather than use whatever horrible ceramic thing would likely be available at the hospital. Adding her own chuckles to Belvina's she pulled the one chair the room seemed to possess a little closer to the bed and sat down.
"No need to apologise. I hate hospitals myself. I keep two Healers on staff at the Stables, one for the horses and one for the people, just to avoid having to send anyone here if I can." Smiling she shook her head to decline the refreshment for the moment. "No, thank you.
"I'm well. Leaving Grandfather in charge of the estate and land for a month means the roof of one of the stables collapsed a bit in the recent rains in that area and will need to be repaired before I can bring the horses back to the country. But, in comparison to what most have suffered through, that's hardly a concern." She laughed softly. "I was more worried he might invite Macnair and the others over for their old revelries in my absence."
Sighing softly, she smiled. "I am glad to see you feeling well enough to be feeling dramatic."
