After a nap later that afternoon, Lily was feeling well enough to visit a couple other friends. She'd sent James out for a few things, clothes mostly, because she was still confined to the infirmary for another day. But Lucy was here as well, and Peter. She hadn't decided if she was going to see Peter, though she'd sat by his bed for a few minutes while he was sleeping.
Ignoring the thought for now, she made her way to Lucy's bedside, and smiled at her friend. "You're looking better," she said, taking the chair beside the bed. "Your parents were here earlier, but you were asleep. They didn't stay long." She didn't mention that Lucy's mother had looked terrible, because that was for Lily to see for herself.
