"I have my moments when I'm willing to make exceptions." Remus shrugged his left shoulder, still grinning but only partially joking. He'd learned to be bitter once. But, in the last year, he'd remembered more of himself, let go of a good deal of that. And, it was easy to do so now, teasing back and forth with his best friend who was alive while the bitch who'd killed him once, who'd twisted Lily Luna, was not.
"You would think so." Chuckling, his side beginning to get used to the discomfort with the continued mirth, he shook his head once more. "The Gryffindor brashness personified, that what you two are. It's a wonder we survived long enough to fight the first war." Still, his grin softened to a warm smile at Sirius' final statement.
"Funny how I seemed to perfect better than you," he shot back with a grin. "Whenever you tried it with McGonagall, we got detention."
