After Alex had been led back to his bed, Remus had been descended upon by a medi-wizard with his potions for the morning. If nothing else, Remus was learning he was unlikely to ever grow out of his dislike for taking potions. Not after the regimen they had him on to make sure his system was cleansed of the silver and to try aiding this natural healing process which was going to be much slower thanks to the fact the wounds were created by silver.
And every single one of them tasted like last year's laundry left out in the rain for a month and then barbecued.
He'd growled at the medi-witch to just leave them once he'd helped Remus sit up. The man had wanted to hover until they were consumed and then get Remus laying down again and he was having none of it. It wasn't going to hurt him to sit up for a little bit. He wasn't even really sitting up, more reclining at a slightly more upright angle than flat on his back that would let him take the medication without choking on it.
When Lily drew near his bedside he was just finishing the last of the potions and greeted her with an unintentional grimace. "Of course. Please, sit. Regulus is away for a bit. You can use his chair. How are you feeling? Prongs was by earlier, but I'm afraid I went to sleep in the middle of his visit. He said you'd been pretty banged up though?"
