Charlie sighed, this was not how these things were supposed to go. He wasn't supposed to feel like he was leaving Callum behind here, because he had been the one to talk about the two of them sticking this out together, making this work and being there for the dragons. And now he was just supposed to what? Go and work at the Ministry? He let himself hate Hermione for just a moment.
"It's just temporary, until I get measures in place for the dragons, for us. And then they'll give the job to someone who can actually stand to be in that place." He didn't argue about whether or not he could be here and do what he needed to at the Ministry, because he didn't know. He knew he wasn't cut out for that sort of thing, that he'd much rather be here than in London, he couldn't see himself staying longer than he needed to at the end of the day, but maybe he was wrong about all of that.
Charlie nodded. "I'll make sure we get people to help," He could do that, there were probably a few in Wales he could drag away, maybe one or two from Romania, though they'd be none to pleased about it.
