This conversation was going no where fast, Ron could see that - and as much as he wanted to smack Hugo around for being a complete idiot Ron did see his point. That didn't change his opinion on the matter, he still wasn't happy about what Hugo had done, and the position he'd put himself in. It just made him unsure how to continue the conversation.
"This is going no where fast," Ron said after a few minutes. "Look, you were wrong. And I don't care what reasons you had, you were wrong. And that's the end of it. I don't want to hear anymore excuses or reasoning." There were times that Ron would rather be doing paperwork than trying to be a responsible adult - and was one of those times.
"We're going to have a talk when you're up and running again." He told him, "You, your mother, and me. But until then you're going to rest and get well and not get yourself into any more trouble - understand?"
