Alastor snorted. "Vanity is not one of my strong suits. You just worry about getting yourself healed before you worry about scars I don't care about."
She wasn't okay. Alastor had seen the area where she'd been found, heard the reports. But, she was better off than some and she would be okay. That was what mattered.
"Honourable, hm? Somehow I don't think that's the word Granger's thinking by now." He smirked. Insane might have been his choice of words. But, what had he been supposed to do? Turn his back on the people he'd sacrificed for months to protect when they still needed him? It was just for a little while, he promised himself. "Maybe we're just doomed to be fixing the world's problems. We should have been more careful about tempting Fate as children with our promises to save the world."
Shaking his head, he squeezed her hand. "Regulus," he chuckled. "She's short on options, but I don't think she's desperate enough to put Sirius in that position. But, the person she wants as Head for the Division is pretty competent. I don't think you'll have to train her much.
"Although, she hasn't officially taken the post yet. You might still want to complain, though. She wants you to do it."
