She smiled at Margot. "I'm sure she's fine," she said, and she believed it too. It was Marlene, she had to be.
She blinked a bit when Margot invited her to stay at their place. "Wow, I didn't see that one coming," she said with a smile. "Thanks. Though you should probably check with Marly too before I accept," she added. It would take the stress off finding a place at once. She could get a salary or two first before finding some place. If she still had her job that was. She hoped so.
She nodded at the question. "I'll be a good patient. The two days instead of three guarantees you me being on my best behaviour."
"And again, thanks. I really appreciate it." She watched the other woman leave, and waited until someone came and told her she'd be moved to St Mungo's. As promised she didn't make a fuss, though she really hated being treated as if she was weak. She'd be well soon enough though, and then she'd get her job back. With her job and a place to stay she could rebuild her life.
