RP: Lilith and Remus Who: Lily and Remus Where: Lily's quarters When: Thursday, just past lunch (predated) Summary: Lily enjoys a visit from an old friend.
Lily didn't often check with the guards to see who'd applied to visit her. She was afraid that if she ever asked and there was no one, she'd be upset, or disappointed, and she wasn't sure she was up for that. But today, she'd asked, and the answer had warmed her to her chilly toes.
Warmed her enough to pay a bit of extra attention to herself, actually putting on her shoes instead of warm socks, and tidying the clutter of books that lay scattered around the room. Put in a request for lunch and ate nearly everything, gazing out the window and swinging her feet under her chair like a child.
She set a plate aside for later with a napkin fluffed over it, along with the rest of her milk. The guard had grudgingly set a chilling charm to protect it, and she'd given him a smile in return before settling onto the chaise with a book to wait.
She didn't have long to read before the knock came, and she looked up as Remus entered the room. "Hello! I was so glad to hear you were coming today." She got awkwardly to her feet and tossed the book aside.
