"Haven't we established that all ready?" He grinned. "You a shut in?" He smirked. "I can't even imagine it." It was amusing to think of his first meeting with Callum, the man he'd been then as Charlie implored him to help with their efforts, especially to compare him to the man who lay beside him now. "Yeah, we'll have to stick around with the dragons, until we get them situated again." He doubted the dragons were going to be happy about being moved again, but they couldn't exactly keep them there at the school.
"I might need months to make sure I've spent enough time with all of my family, but I can safely say now that I will never have the urge to come back and teach." He assured Callum. "I can't believe I ever though I was capable of it in the first place."
Charlie curled his fingers against Callum's cheek, it was a tender gesture but Charlie found it fitting as they kissed. "I know, we can figure this out when there aren't people trying to kill us, yeah?" He suggested. Maybe everything would change, maybe without the threat of death hanging over them this wouldn't work anymore, Charlie didn't know for sure, but he wasn't ready to say one way or the other how this would go.
