He sighed. "I'm torn about her. They'd trained her well enough to actually notice it when I tried to Legilimens her covertly." His voice was sharp; obviously he was still stung by that, though when he resumed speaking his tone was quieter, more thoughtful. "Yet, I feel that she cooperated fully with my investigations. There's no doubt that she killed, and felt pride in it at the time. Equally, there's no doubt she was horrified afterwards. She evidently loved Rabastan, and was afraid of him." He shook his head. "She's a tangle of contradictions it'd take a more patient Legilimens than I am, years to sort through.
At least she isn't actively looking to avenge her husband anymore," he concluded sardonically, "I suppose that's something."
