She nodded silently. Andromeda hadn't spoken much to the eldest Potter sibling, beyond the obligatory introductions, but she could easily she he was a force to be reckoned with. Looking down as Lily wrapped her fingers around her own, she offered yet another smile.
"My Stephen..." Andromeda laughed. "He's hardly mine." She paused, not wanting to give any secret away. "We've hardly known each other long enough to be possessive, no matter what our marriage vows say."
She frowned when Lily spoke of her body's ills. Surely that was a detriment to her health and the health of her body? Would it be so bad if she, accompanied by guards, walked up and down a flight of stairs or two?
"We, I," Andromeda amended, not sure if she could speak for anyone else, "want you to get better, whatever that means. You need to be strong for your child."
"I've missed speaking to you. They have me in research and while the rest all perfectly polite, for the most part, there's no one I can speak to." It was odd. Andromeda never realized how isolated she really was.
