RP: Lilith and Jamie Who: Lilith, Jamie Where: Lilith's rooms. When: 20 September Summary: Lilith entertains a guest.
It took some time to adjust to being where she was. It had taken longer yesterday, and still longer the morning before. Maybe it would get easier. Make more sense. Feel less foreign.
She'd risen and eaten, a bit of toast and some juice. A bite of egg. The guards had let her bathe alone but she was sure that they were monitoring her somehow, whether it be a magical view through the door or some other way of watching her. They wouldn't leave her alone. Not Lilith Lestrange. Not at Hogwarts.
She'd dried and dressed in the first robes her fingers had found in the wardrobe, surprised to find that it was actually cut for her figure. Someone had been pregnant here? Or someone had altered this to fit her... Soft shoes. She plaited her hair to keep it out of her face, tying off the end with a scrap of ribbon. Too short to do anything but fasten her hair with.
And thus began the day. A day of nothing. A day without Rabastan. One of an endless number. There was a large-ish window in the sitting room and she started to move the chaise toward it, and was startled when it moved more easily than she'd imagined. Lilith looked up at the guard who'd moved to help her, but he looked away once the lounge was moved.
"Thank you."
He didn't respond.
She retrieved a soft pillow from her bed to tuck behind her back, then stretched out on the chaise, gazing out over what she could see of the grounds and the sky, and let her thoughts drift to no place in particular.
She heard the door open, and murmured words, but they weren't enough to make her even lift her head.
