Summary: Rose has an idea and wants to run it by Ron

It nagged her all day yesterday; family dinner. It had been ages and ages since they had a family dinner, excluding hers and Victoire's weddings since they weren't all sitting at one table. Still, an idea had formed in the back of her head and it wouldn't go away. Rose wanted a family dinner. No, I want to cook a family dinner she mentally corrected herself.

So that morning, she wrote a quick note to her father asking him to meet her in the library whenever he had a moment. If she was going to cook, she'd need use of the kitchens or at least access to ingredients to use and she could just transfigure something into a stove. It was probably frivolous and not allowed, but Rose wanted to talk about it and perhaps make it a surprise for Mum's birthday.

Sitting on one of the couches, Rose was updating the list of books Healer McKinnon had checked out when she heard her father's voice. "Hi Daddy. How's work been so far today?"
