Re: Regulus/Jacob - Fenrir/Walden
This had definitely been an enjoyable evening, it had been too long since Jacob had been able to attend a party like this, and moving about the guests watching them so unaware was more than satisfying. It was almost a shame they had gone with disillusionment instead of polyjuice so that they might better enjoy the evening, but Jacob had resigned himself to waiting for the signal to fully enjoy himself that evening.
And when it came, he didn't waste time - having spent the time they were forced to conceal themselves, picking out his targets. He dropped the charm and cast the killing curse easily - there never was time to truly enjoy himself anymore, one of the many disadvantages of being on the side of the good - and watched as the man of the hour dropped dead. He smirked, it was only fitting after all that Goyle be among the dead tonight.
And then he returned his attention to those closer to them, saw the nod Regulus cast toward Greyback and Macnair and joined him as they moved closer. Jacob favored Walden in this case, he knew more of the man and he'd heard quite a bit about his reputation in this life and the previous. He took his time here - there were too many guests, and while he was not opposed to killing innocents he was wary of hitting one of his own, always conscious of the vow he'd made to Dumbledore.
