Marlene laughed. "Of course, there's a picnic, but that's really not the point." Their time at the lake had given her the idea for this, but for once she was the one mixing pleasure with business.
"I admit that the entertainment options are limited, but no," she said, shaking her head. "I've always been able to have fun anywhere. Coming up with idea is just as fun as actually doing it." Standing here, leaning against Alastor seemed pretty bright to her.
"I was thinking something else. With all the people getting upset and depressed, why not organise picnics here? We could have split the people in shifts: Saturday and Sunday, since it's when most people are off. They can spend two hours here, under the sun, no Dementors. We can bring them in and out all together, so there's no problem with security. The children can run around." She turned her head to look at him. "It might just give everyone some sanity."
