RP: Jamie and Sirius Who: Sirius Black and James Sirius Potter Where: Wherever they are When: September 12 2025 Summary: Just a little time at the end of the day
Sirius was in a very good mood that evening, thanks in part to the still lingering good mood that had been the result of the family dinner on Friday. He couldn't help but enjoy himself in settings like that, the food had been better than anything they served in the Great Hall and other than the brief interlude to explain manners and expectations (which Sirius had also found himself unable to resist enjoying as well) the company had been good too. He'd been so sure he was going to live out the rest of his life without these sorts of interactions and yet there he'd been with James invited to a family dinner and it had been brilliant.
He did often tell Remus he shouldn't be surprised at being included in such things - he was family after all, but Sirius occasionally had a bit of his own surprise when countered with those sorts of situations. After all it was one thing for Regulus to put up with him, but quite another for the family at large to as well.
And even better it was his day off so he'd been able to sleep in, and now he had the rest of the night to spend with James - unless something insane happened though he might just have to kill someone if that ended up being the case.
"You know, I've been thinking more about what we'll do when we're out. Astoria said there should be a party." Sirius did agree with her on some levels a party would be brilliant - and a real one too where it was more than just a few of them hiding out, where everyone could come and somewhere other than this dreadful castle, and somewhere they could leave soon after they'd arrived too. Because that was the thing, Sirius had been sharing James since this whole thing started, he knew he was important, but when this was over he wasn't so sure he wanted to share James any longer than necessary - which meant a trip for just the two of them, away from all of the insanity they'd been living for months now.
