"Smart arse," she replied. "Of course I don't have the entire story, if I did I wouldn't be asking questions," she said, catching the socks and moving back towards the bed. Not too many people knew of the nickname, but even though she seemed relaxed, she was still alert.
She looked at him, eyebrow raised in scepticism when he spoke. "You do realise none of this makes any kind of sense, right?" she said, leaning back on the hands when the socks were on. "However, it's too unbelievable for anyone sane to make up, so let's assume that you haven't become completely delusional." She got up and went to the window to confirm where they were. Sure enough those were Hogwarts' grounds.
"What you're basically saying is that I somehow died in my sleep in 1978 and now I'm alive again and it's 2025? Or do you want to go with the time travelling idea?" she suggested. "Because they don't exactly seem to match at first glance."
"Do you mind if I summon my wand, by the way?" she asked. "It's not like I can't hex you without it anyway. If I wanted to I would have done it already."
